Why should I consider investing in a LANDA Dealership of my own?
The growing complexity and sophistication of running a small business today makes
it increasingly more difficult for the average individual to make it without the
support of an international company like ours at your side. LANDA has been in business
for over 40 years. Our headquarters, located in Camas, Washington, has a staff of
250 people to provide service and support to each dealer. LANDA is North America's
most recognized name in the industrial cleaning industry.
What is the fee for acquiring a LANDA Dealership?
We do not charge a fee or require any payment of royalties for the dealership rights.
This is not a franchise operation. However, as a LANDA Dealer we provide you with
exclusive rights to market LANDA branded products in your territory.
How much training will I receive to help me learn to run my own LANDA Dealership?
You will receive:

What size of staff will I need to begin?
|

Assuming that you as the owner will be the primary salesperson, you will need:

- 3,000 square foot office-warehouse in a business park location

How much money will I need to invest?
|
|
There are no franchise fees, start-up fees, or royalties. You will need $20,000
to $50,000 in available cash for initial working capital and costs associated with
setting up a business. In addition, you will be financing your initial inventory,
vehicle leases, etc. Actual costs will vary by location and whether you are starting
from scratch. A variety of financing sources are available to LANDA Dealers.

How much money will I be able to earn?
|
|
The ultimate earning potential rests primarily on how hard you are willing to work
and how you structure your business for growth. LANDA Dealers have more than 250
locations and the number is growing. Several earn $200,000 or more per year.

Who are my customers?
|
|
Your list of prospective customers will run into the thousands and in several hundred
SIC codes. Nearly all businesses have some kind of cleaning opportunity that LANDA
products solve. We clean fleets of vehicles as well as construction equipment. We
also solve complex cleaning problems for manufacturing, as well as, small, but critical
problems for commercial accounts like dog kennels, repair shops, farmers, municipalities,
restaurants and many, many more. Companies in our key industries specify LANDA equipment
more than any other brand.

You will be provided exclusive rights to a regional “Area of Primary Responsibility”
which will be sufficient to support your growth for many years to come. Typically
it consists of a metropolitan area, including the surrounding suburban and rural
area.

|

You will have the opportunity to optimize your “Area of Primary Responsibility”
through a well thought-out business plan. Successful LANDA Dealers establish an
effective sales force and customer support system, generate solid sales volume and
identify customers who have the potential for repeat sales. Your ability to develop
a realistic marketing plan, together with your willingness to motivate your employees,
will assure a solid on-going business.

Yes! Many successful LANDA Dealers have involved their families to form a strong
working group to help their business grow and thrive.

What kind of financial support will LANDA Dealers receive?

LANDA has financial aid packages for qualified Dealers that allow you to offer term
payments to end users and close more sales. LANDA also has inventory support programs
for Dealers setting up their initial stock or expanding their businesses. A detailed

Where are LANDA products manufactured?
|
|
LANDA has several manufacturing and distribution centers throughout North America
and a manufacturing plant in Europe. The North American plants are all strategically
located to support our North American Dealer network. The European plant produces
water pumps and other critical components.

However, we will counsel you on inventory that typically moves faster and generates
more immediate sales and profits. Most LANDA Dealers are scheduling weekly shipments
to meet demand. Inventory financing is available.

What is the typical owner's function in a LANDA Dealership?

|
The owner of a LANDA Dealership must be able to motivate, train, and coach a team
of employees. The owner must be comfortable working with equipment, whether outside,
in uniform, or in a coat-and-tie setting.

help you determine whether to proceed to the next step of having you complete a
confidential qualification questionnaire. The head of our business development program
will review this application, and if approved, you will be invited to LANDA's headquarters
in Camas, Washington for an interview and further discussions. Successful candidates
will be offered a LANDA Dealership Agreement, including a proposed schedule for
site selection, training and set-up. Normally it takes 90 to 120 days to commence
operations.
